At 99Baseballs.com, our mission is to provide coaches and players with information they need to excel in baseball and softball.
During many years as a parent, coach, manager (baseball and softball teams), board member, and league commissioner for a local travel and recreation league, I saw firsthand disadvantages faced by parents without baseball knowledge.
That is why I created this site with a team of passionate former players and coaches in order to share our experience to help you.
It is important to remember that every child develops at their own pace, so our job as parents is to recognize this and create a fun and exciting environment for your child to develop skills to succeed in baseball and softball.
Playing baseball offers many valuable life lessons, such as perseverance, failure, teamwork, goal-setting, leadership, and a strong work ethic.
That is why we came up with the name “99” baseballs because baseball and softball can offer so many valuable life lessons.
As the fictional character Jimmy Dugan famously said in a movie, “A League of Their Own,” “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. The hard… is what makes it great.”
