Lentini’s Walk-Off Gives Middle Atlantic (Bridgewater, NJ) Victory Over Southeast (Tallahassee, FL)

Middle Atlantic took Saturday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 6-5 walk-off victory over Southeast. The game was tied at five with Middle Atlantic batting in the bottom of the eighth when Michael Lentini’s sac fly scored one run for Middle Atlantic.

Southeast opened up scoring in the first inning, when Noah Miller doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the top of the seventh inning, Southeast tied things up at five. Southeast scored one run when Caleb Thomas singled.

Brandon Kim earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Middle Atlantic. The pitcher allowed three hits and four runs over four innings, striking out one.

Thomas (Aidyn) King took the loss for Southeast. The hurler lasted two and a third innings, allowing zero hits and two runs.

Miller started the game for Southeast. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and four runs while striking out three Lentini started the game for Middle Atlantic. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two

James Kilgallon led Middle Atlantic with one hit in three at bats.

Thatcher Harley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Southeast in hits.
