Ohio Valley sailed to an easy victory over Ottumwa IA 8-2 on Monday
In the first inning, Ohio Valley got their offense started. Warren Bowe grounded out, scoring one run.
Ohio Valley put up four runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught by Ohio Valley was led by Cooper Jesperson, Jack Gorman, and Bowe, who all drove in runs.
Bowe led the Ohio Valley to victory on the hill. Bowe surrendered two runs on zero hits over two innings, striking out four. Aaron Gust threw five innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Nolan Heller took the loss for Ottumwa IA. The pitcher allowed two hits and five runs over one inning.
Cashton Leslin, Gust, Jake Bjerke, and Caleb Moss each collected one hit to lead Ohio Valley.
